Forklift repair requirements

1. All important parts removed from the forklift must be thoroughly cleaned and blown clean with compressed air before they are ready to be installed back;

2. If there are quality defects on the contact surface of forklift parts, they must be repaired before installation;

3. The flat washer, washer, cotter pin, safety gasket and other small parts equipped with the nut of the forklift must be fully assembled in the forklift parts manual;

4. If the main bolts of the forklift are deformed or elongated, they must be replaced, and the threads of the bolts shall extend within one to three teeth of the nut. Generally, the allowable thread of the bolt is not lower than that of the nut, or it can extend more than three teeth of the nut without affecting its use effect;

5. Forklift maintenance personnel shall use a torque wrench to tighten all nuts and bolts with specified tightness;

6. The used copper sheet, iron sheet, asbestos liner, paper liner and cork liner can still be installed under the condition of a complete application. All gaskets shall not be painted;

7. Before installation, the leather oil seal of the forklift must be immersed in the mixed oil of engine oil and kerosene heated to 60 ℃ for 5-8min before installation; The friction part of the rubber oil seal shall be coated with gear oil. During installation, the outer circumference of the iron shell and seat ring of the oil seal shall be covered with white zinc paint;

8. The machined surface of the machine part can not be directly knocked with an iron hammer but must be padded with a soft metal plate or cushion rod;

9. Hydraulic pump, hydraulic distributor, and hydraulic steering device shall be tested and partially or completely disassembled for maintenance after testing.

Safety rules for forklift repair

1. When removing the lifting device, it should be hung on the lifting equipment, then disassemble the lower connector, lift and pull it forward to separate it from the frame;

2. When repairing the bottom of the forklift, the sign of “under repair” should be hung, the parking brake should be tightened, and the forklift wheels should be blocked with triangular wooden plugs;

3. When jacking the forklift with a jack, the jack should be placed stably, and people outside the forklift. When erecting a forklift, a bench should be used, and bricks or other easily broken objects are prohibited;

4. It is not allowed to work on the forklift after lifting and unloading the forklift wheels with a jack;

5. When using the jack to put down the forklift wheels, check whether there are obstacles around and whether there is any danger of pressing yourself. Open the hydraulic switch slowly;

6. Before starting the forklift engine accessories, check whether the oil in the oil pan, cooling water in the radiator and shift lever are in the neutral position, and tighten the parking brake;

7. The adjusted or tested vehicle shall have a good starter. For example, when the starter accessories are manually cranked, the fingers shall be lifted from the bottom to top on one side of the handle to prevent people from being hurt by counterattack;

8. During the test, it is forbidden to carry out any supporting, fastening and adjustment work to eliminate the bad state;

9. When starting the engine in the workshop for inspection and adjustment, open the doors and windows to make the air unblocked;

10. When testing engine accessories, do not work at the bottom of the forklift;

11. After the forklift engine is started, check whether each instrument usually works.
