What is a forklift hydraulic pump?
Forklift hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor are energy conversion devices in hydraulic system accessories. Forklift hydraulic pump converts the mechanical energy of the original rotating force into hydraulic energy, which belongs to the power component of the forklift.
Two, what is the role of the forklift hydraulic pump?
Forklift hydraulic motor converts rotary motion energy into hydraulic mechanical energy of gear meshing. It is the actuator used to push the hydraulic cylinder.
The hydraulic pumps used in hydraulic transmission rely on the volume change of the sealed working oil chamber to achieve oil absorption and oil discharge. It is also known as the positive displacement forklift hydraulic pump.
Forklift hydraulic pumps can be divided into the blade, gear, plunger, and other types.
In terms of working principles, the forklift hydraulic pump is irreversible, mainly depends on the position of oil intake and oil discharge of the forklift hydraulic pump.
Any positive displacement forklift hydraulic pump can be used with a hydraulic motor.
However, due to its different working conditions, some measures have been taken in the structure to improve its performance.
Three, forklift hydraulic pump common faults
Common faults of forklift hydraulic pump
1, working oil due to contamination and deterioration: contamination will cause wear and corrosion of parts, especially for the delicate parts. They will scratch the inner wall of the rubber tube, oil seal ring, and filler, and these things will lead to more contamination into the system after damage, so the formation of a vicious cycle of damage.
2, overheating,
Overheating will quickly oxidize the oil, and oxidation will release insoluble resin, sludge, acid, etc. These substances accumulate in the oil to cause accelerated wear and corrosion of parts. They adhere to the surface of the finishing parts and make parts lose their original function.
The oil becomes thin because of overheating but also makes the transmission work slow
3, into the air:
In addition to causing overheating, the air into the oil will be a considerable amount of air under pressure is dissolved in the oil.
If about 10% of the compressed volume is dissolved air, the foam will form as the pressure drops.
When the working hydraulic cylinder returns to the oil under pressure, the foaming oil will form the nature of a “sponge.”
In addition, a lot of foam in the oil will increase the total volume, which will cause the tank or reservoir oil spill phenomenon.
Four forklift hydraulic pump failure maintenance methods:
1. Remove the screw on the back cover of the hydraulic pump and remove the back cover;
2. Check the gear inside and whether the cylinder wall is badly worn;
3. Replace the copper repair kit in the hydraulic pump and replace the high-pressure oil seal on the front shaft of the hydraulic pump;
4, after the replacement is completed, load it back in the opposite order, and then load it to test and check the working condition. It can be used after usual.
