Before the forklift hydraulic fault diagnosis, the forklift maintenance personnel must understand under what circumstances the forklift has this fault and whether the accessories of the hydraulic system have been adjusted or repaired. If the hydraulic system still acts during startup, they must carefully observe under what circumstances the fault phenomenon occurs and analyze the working principle of the hydraulic system. It is required that the maintenance personnel be familiar with the working principle and characteristics of the structure of various hydraulic system accessories. 1. Experience method of maintenance personnel. Technicians with many years of forklift maintenance experience make an essential diagnosis of the faults of forklift hydraulic systems;

2. Test the fault system with maintenance instrument inspection method and special forklift fault detector to accurately determine the fault location and cause;

3. Fault code method, using the forklift mainboard intelligent self-test method and displaying the fault code through the display screen to check and judge the fault point of the hydraulic system;

4. Parts replacement method: when the essential fault point judgment has been made, the fault point can be determined by replacing a part or analogy.

5. By monitoring the hydraulic system of the forklift, maintenance personnel with specific maintenance experience can get important maintenance information through sensory listening, touching, looking, and smelling. Hearing can judge the noise of forklift bearing, the scream of overflow valve, and the abnormal pulsation sound of oil pump cavitation. Touch by hand to find overheating and excessive vibration of a part of the hydraulic system. Suppose there is overheating, noise, vibration, and other phenomena. Once found, it shall be analyzed and eliminated in time. Otherwise, it will directly affect the service life of hydraulic system accessories. Visually observe the operation of the actuator, the reading of the pressure gauge, hose jitter, and oil leakage. Smell: replace it immediately if you smell smelly and deteriorated hydraulic oil. Otherwise, it will lead to various subsequent hydraulic system faults, whether there is the abnormal smell of rubber parts caused by overheating of hydraulic oil, a sintering smell of hydraulic pump, etc.
