The oil leakage in the vent cap of the forklift is due to the limitation of the structure, a section of the oil pipe must be lower than the vent of the hydraulic oil tank. When the hydraulic oil temperature is high after the forklift operates for some time, the oil and gas will be discharged through the vent, and some oil droplets will gather in the section of the oil pipe lower than the vent. When the hydraulic oil of the lifting cylinder returns to the oil tank through the oil return flange, The air on the liquid level of the oil tank will be rapidly discharged through the oil pipe. Still, oil has accumulated in the low recess in the oil pipe, so it is removed by the exhaust, resulting in oil dripping from the vent cap.
Improvement method:
- Disconnect the oil pipe.
- Stagger the two fractures up and down.
- Weld them at the upper end of the refueling pipe and under the refueling port.
This improvement is simple and effective, and the vent cap will no longer drip oil leakage, which is neither waste nor pollute the environment.
