The function of the oil pump is to send the oil to the friction parts of the engine to circulate the oil in the lubrication circuit to ensure good lubrication of the engine. Most oil pumps are gear pumps composed of the gear pump body, etc. When the engine works, the camshaft drives the driving gear of the pump body to rotate. When the gear swings, the oil flows from the oil inlet to the oil outlet along the inner wall of the pump, forming a low pressure and generating suction, and the oil in the oil box is sucked into the oil inlet. The oil at the oil outlet accumulates more and more, so the pressure increases, and the oil is pressed to each friction part to realize forced lubrication.
