5. Selection of forklift lifting quality and lifting height
When you choose a forklift, do you know whether to choose an internal combustion forklift or battery forklift? How much is the power engine suitable for you? What transmission mode of forklift conforms to its workload and maintenance? After reading these 5 points, make sure you know what type of forklift you choose is suitable for you.
Point 1. Selection of forklift type
How do indoor and outdoor users choose forklifts? A battery forklift is generally suitable for indoor operation (including warehouse, workshop, etc.) to reduce air pollution and noise. For outdoor operation, especially when the side road is not very flat, selecting an internal combustion forklift is better. Among the three internal combustion forklifts, diesel forklifts are widely used. If there are no special requirements, diesel forklifts are generally used. Considering the characteristics of low temperature and difficult engine start in winter, a small number of users choose gasoline forklifts for easy engine start. However, using a direct injection diesel engine on the forklift, the difficult engine start in winter is solved. Therefore, the sales volume of gasoline forklifts in the domestic forklift market will be less and less. In addition, with the federal restrictions on environmental pollution and higher and higher requirements for environmental protection, more and more users choose LPG forklifts as outdoor operations, and it will become a development trend.
Point 2. Selection of transmission mode
Among the three transmission modes of internal combustion forklift, mechanical transmission forklift and hydraulic transmission forklift are the most selected by domestic users. Due to high price, high use and maintenance requirements, complex troubleshooting, and high maintenance costs. Usually, the mechanical drive forklift can meet the use requirements when the work is discontinuous and the daily working time is not long (within 5H). For continuous work, frequent work, heavy load, and 2-shift and 3-shift operation, hydraulic drive forklifts are generally better to improve work efficiency and reduce the labor intensity of forklift drivers. With the improvement of the reliability of hydraulic drive forklifts, because it has the advantages of step-less speed change, labor-saving and convenient operation, and high work efficiency, the users of hydraulic drive forklifts will increase.
Point 3. Selection of forklift power
To meet the different users, each internal combustion forklift is equipped with various domestic and imported engines for users to choose from. These engines are different from domestic and imported engines and have different engine power. For general users, forklifts equipped with domestic engines can be selected, relatively cheap and convenient for maintenance service. For users with heavy work and long working hours, imported engines can be selected to reduce the failure rate and improve reliability. For users with hefty working conditions and harsh working environments, it is recommended to select a high-power imported engine.
Point 4. Selection of battery forklift
How do users choose a battery forklift? Battery forklift is mainly used for indoor operation. Generally, a balance weight battery forklift is selected, including three fulcrums and four. A forward-moving battery forklift or battery pallet stacker can be selected for users with narrow access, stacking and forking goods above the shelf, or needing to enter the elevator to work on the floor.
Point 5. Selection of forklift lifting quality and lifting height
The rated lifting mass of each forklift refers to the mass of goods that can be lifted when the center of gravity of the goods is within the center distance of the standard load of the forklift. The forklift gantry is vertical. The forklift is lifted to the standard lifting height of the forklift (China’s standard lifting height is 3000mm). Therefore, when selecting the forklift tonnage, the user should compare the center of gravity of the loaded and unloaded goods with the standard load center of the forklift. If the center of gravity of the goods is equal to or less than the center distance of the standard load of the forklift, the rated lifting mass of the selected forklift is equal to or about more significant than the mass of the goods. If the center of gravity of the goods is greater than the center distance of the standard load of the forklift, the tonnage of the forklift shall be determined according to the forklift load curve provided by the forklift sample.
